Indore. Cases of animal cruelty keep coming up at different places in the country. The latest incident is from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where a madman fired at a pet dog with an air gun. Dog is injured due to firing. He has been sent to the hospital for treatment. The Indore unit of Nidi Tail Foundation and People for Animals have complained about this at the Annapurna police station. After which the police is looking for the accused by registering an FIR. Karthik Tanwar of Nidi Tale Foundation told that Vandana Soni, who lives in Annapurna area, had complained to him in this matter.
According to the information received, Mohit, a neighbor of Vandana Soni, had fired three times with an air gun on her pet dog at around 3 pm on January 7. Vandana had sent her dog out for nature’s call (to freshen up) as usual. But, during this, Mohit fired at his dog with his air gun. Due to this the dog got injured and blood started coming out of its body. Hearing the loud barking of her pet dog, Vandana Soni immediately took the injured dog to the hospital. In the investigation, the doctors told about the presence of air gun shrapnel in the dog’s body.
After this incident, dog’s owner Vandana Soni, Karthik Tanwar of Nidi Tail Foundation and Priyanshu Jain of People for Animals, Indore unit took the complaint to Annapurna police station. Police said that a complaint has been received in the name of Priyanshu Jain of People for Animals. He has registered a case against Mohit’s father Tejpal Singh under the Animal Cruelty Act. Simultaneously, the accused is being searched.
Please tell that this is not the first such incident in Indore. In the past too, there was a case when a drunkard had injured a dog puppy by beating it up. Along with this, both his ears were also cut off. This matter also went viral on social media.
